Well, the weather isn’t the best for me today…
The sky is pretty much blanket grey and humidity is 100%, there is mist too. Whilst it isn’t raining – everything is wet and that makes one feel colder than if it was much colder, though dryer.
This isn’t going to be a day I feel able to venture into the great outdoors much, though we’ll see as the day goes on.
So, here’s a photo I shot previously – 21st December 16, Nikon D80 & Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D – though the weather was about the same. ‘Westward Ho, Island Ferry‘, at low tide.
Westward Ho, Island Ferry. Moored at Knighstone Island – 21st December 16, Nikon D80 & Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D
Unfortunately, I don’t know the back story on this vessel. She could be here for repairs or maybe someone has acquired her or maybe just on a normal itinery stop-over? Because she’s been here a while!
Either way: I find her both quite sad, just sat on the bottom waiting for one of the Bristol Channel‘s twice daily mini, slow-motion, tidal-waves to float her again, and yet photogenic at the same time. I feel it’s the livery that makes her seem so forlorn and homesick!
Well, that’s all from my photo blog from Weston-super-Mare for the moment. I hope it isn’t too depressing for those enjoying lovely sunshine and blues sky today. 🙂
